We are thrilled to announce that we have acquired the inspHire software business from our reseller Elev8 Australia Pty Ltd, providing fantastic opportunities to strengthen our presence in the Australian market. While we will continue to operate with the same great people, the acquisition will add value to our customers, our new employees and our investors. We have offered award-winning hire software through the local reseller for the last 12 years and now plan to service customers directly, aligning the customer experience and growing market share. However, for the time being it’s business as usual.

We are excited to announce that inspHire has joined Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a leading supplier of software to wholesalers, merchants and other distributive businesses. Acquiring both inspHire and Current-RMS, provides KCS fantastic opportunities to strengthen two leading hire software providers. We have welcomed the acquisition, as KCS will be investing in the development of our products, as well as maintaining and supporting us in the future. A further key benefit for us is the support KCS will provide around our expansion in the US, UK and Europe, which is very important for us.

At this year’s event, the Hire & Rental Industry Association (HRIA) celebrated 50 years of Australian Hire Industry Conventions! Taking place from the 30th – 31st May at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre the show was host to over 1500 attendees and 100 exhibitors making it the biggest and most successful convention to date.

The Hire and Rental Association host a fantastic convention every year and Hire16 continued that trend. Taking place over the 5th and 6th of May at the superb venue that is the Gold Coast Convention Centre, 88 exhibitors and over 1200 visitors attended, which meant the convention definitely lived up to its motto of ‘connecting people’, providing networking opportunities with businesses ranging from international market leaders to small family run operations.
