The Hire and Rental Association host a fantastic convention every year and Hire16 continued that trend. Taking place over the 5th and 6th of May at the superb venue that is the Gold Coast Convention Centre, 88 exhibitors and over 1200 visitors attended, which meant the convention definitely lived up to its motto of ‘connecting people’, providing networking opportunities with businesses ranging from international market leaders to small family run operations.

Compromising of live outdoor demonstrations as well as indoor exhibits, HRIA Convention provided us with a great stage to demo our leading hire management software to many new faces, showing them the benefits that using inspHire can bring to their business. insphire Mobile generated a lot of interest, and as we’ve seen a huge rise in demand for mobile technology within the hire industry, this was no surprise.

Visitors were particularly impressed with how easily they would be able to carry out and complete jobs away from the hire desk. Using inspHire Mobile allows you to complete deliveries and collections by capturing signatures, photos and geo location stamps, as well as adding timesheets, parts and labour to Workshop jobs. Carrying out all these tasks on the go allows businesses to save time and money by becoming more efficient and moving towards a paperless office system.

The HRIA convention was a great opportunity to learn about market trends with the hire industry with a range of engaging keynote speakers. Over the two days there were seminars covering a range of topics, one of which was how we are moving into an era of collaboration, where connectivity rather than competition is everything.

The event culminated in the Hire Industry of Excellence Awards, which recognise outstanding achievement and industry excellence. Congratulations to all winners from everyone at inspHire!
